Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: Slippery and falling hazards causing severes contusions, lacerations and bacteria contamination hazards with virus or bacterias causing allergies, rash and dangerous infections and illnesses like Hepatitis A. a)At the workplace known as Departamento de la Familia - Employees were working daily and continually at different administratives tasks on a building which have leakages problems at different areas of the office. The first floor of the building was maded at the same level of the street and every time is raining the water enters inside of it at different areas. One of them take place where the air conditioning unit was placed, located at the front area of such office. The other leakage classified the most dangerous and located at the printer area comes from the ceiling located at the same time underneath of the restroom of the Maricao Recreative Center located at the second floor of the building. This water can be classified as sanitary sewage and could have coliforms bacterias and virus which cause so many infections and very dangerous illnesses. Location: Air conditioning, printer and other areas of such office. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is establishing a cleaning process to the air conditioner unit and place a drainage system to conduct the water out of the office. Concerning to the other likeages, including the one of the printer area, the employer need to perform a complete sealing work at the Maricao Recreative Center located at the second floor and the ceiling of the first one to assure the effectiveness and the quality of the process avoiding the water leakages problems could happens again. Riesgos de resbalones y caidas ocasionando contusiones severas, laceraciones y riesgos de contaminacion con virus y bacterias ocasionando alergias, irritaciones, infecciones y enfermedades peligrosas como la Hepatitis A. a)En el lugar de trabajo conocido como Departamento de la Familia - Empleados estuvieron trabajando diaria y continuamente en diferentes tareas administrativas en un edificio el cual tiene muchos liqueos en el techo localizados en diferentes areas de la oficina. El primer piso del edificio fuehecho al mismo nivel de la calle y cada vez que llueve, al agua entra al interior de este por diferentes areas. Uno de ellos ocurre en el area donde esta colocada la unidad de acondicionador de aire localizada en el area frontal de dicha oficina. El otro liqueo, clasificado como el mas peligroso y localizado en el area de la impresora, proviene del techo el cual esta localizado a la misma vez debajo del bano del Centro Recreativo de Maricao localizado en el segundo piso del edificio. Esta agua puede ser clasificada como aguas negras y podria contener bacterias coliformes y virus los cuales causan muchas infecciones y enfermedades peligrosas. Localizacion: En las areas del acondicionador de aire, la impresora y otras areas de dicha oficina. Entre otros metodos, un metodo de correccion factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es estableciendo un proceso de limpieza de la unidad de acondicionador de aire y colocarle un sistema de desagGe que conduzca el agua fuera de la oficina. Respecto a los demas liqueos, incluyendo el del area de la impresora el patrono necesita realizar un trabajo de sellado completo en el area del Centro Recreativo de Maricao localizado en segundo piso y en el techo del primero para asegurar la eficacia y la calidad del proceso evitando que los problemas de liqueos de agua puedan ocurrir nuevamente."or
