NCGS 95-129(1): The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards which were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. 1) Employer Rene Rojas failed to protect employees from exposed wiring at bedroom ceiling light fixtures that could possibly cause electrical shock, coma, burns or possible death. Among other methods one feasible and acceptable method of abatement is to replace electrical light fixtures.l
