safeguarding devices.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is to
include, but not be limited to the following:
(1) Conform to the American National Standard Institute (ANSI) B11.3-
2002,
section 8.6.6
Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the
requirements of
29 CFR 1903.19(d).

the means of
fixing the selection between multiple or single operator control stations
was
not capable of being
supervised by the employer.  On the Amada #10 the selector switch had the
key broken off
inside the key lock switch.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is to
include, but not be limited to the following:
(1) Conform to the American National Standard Institute (ANSI) B11.3-
2002, sections 6.11.1
and 6.11.3.4

Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the
requirements of
29 CFR 1903.19(d).
Courtesy Manufacturing Company was previously cited for a violation of
this Occupational
Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, Section (5)(a)(1)
which
was
contained in OSHA Inspection Number 303647804, Citation Number 01, Item
Number 001,
issued on 10/12/2000, with respect to the workplace at 1300 Pratt
