Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety & Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to employees places and conditions of employment that were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: a)Benson Warehouse: Employee operating TCM Forklift truck Model-FG30T6, Serial No. 36R73254, No. 2. was not wearing his seat belt. AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO WEAR THE PROVIDED SEAT BELTS AS REFERENCED IN THE ASME B56.I 2000 " SAFETY STANDARD FOR LOW LIFT AND HIGH LIFT TRUCKS.
