Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to fall hazards:
(a) Location - 270 Treble Cove Road, Billerica, MA:
On 1/31/05, an employee was exposed to serious injuries while utilizing
the Nations Rent
Articulating Boom to raise roofing panels into position.
Among other methods feasible and acceptable to correct this hazard
includes, but are not
limited to:
1.  Utilize a crane to lift material onto the roof.
2.  Obtain the manufacturer's written documentation to use this personal
hoist as a crane.
