Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards: (a)Southern Energy Homes, Inc. - On or about 02/14/06, employees putting down roofing insulation were not provided fall protection. Employees were exposed to falling 11ft. from the roof of a manufactured home. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to provide a means of fall protection such as, but not limited to, a full body harness with lanyard.
