Section 5(a)1 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing hazards: Operator of the New Holland LS 180 B skid steer loader left the operator controls with the arms of the skid steer loader in the raised position. The operator was not trained to properly operate the skid steer loader by the employer, and did not follow the instruction decals located on the skid steer loader. AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS: Follow the instructional decals located on the skid steer loader and follow the Operators Manual for the skid steer loader.rs
