Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were not trained to identify hazards while removing bad cross members from the front cross member welding line: a)In the front cross member final welding line: On June 22, 2010 and at times prior to, the employer failed to train employees to identify hazards such as, but not limited to robot tasks, hazards related to each task, response to abnormal/unexpected events or recovery of operations exposing employees to struck by, caught in and crushing hazards while they removed bad cross members from the bad cross member cell. A feasible and acceptable method of abatement to correct this hazard include, but are not limited to the following: a)Train employees In Accordance With (IAW) the guidelines established in Appendix A of this agreement.d
