hazard would be to
keep employees clear of the elevated bucket and boom and to keep visual
contact with the
operator, to train the operators not to operate the excavator when unable
to see the employees,
to focus on the task during rigging operations, and to engage brakes
and/or other mechanisms
to prevent the boom from moving while a load is being rigged to it, to
ensure that the
operational path of heavy equipment is clear prior to movement.
