29 CFR 1910.134(i)(7): For oil-lubricated compressors, the employer shall use a high-temperature or carbon monoxide alarm, or both, to monitor carbon monoxide levels. If only high-temperature alarms are used, the air supply shall be monitored at intervals sufficient to prevent carbon monoxide in the breathing air from exceeding 10 ppm. (a) The breathing air used for the supplied air respirators was not monitored for carbon monoxide, in that the carbon monoxide meter was not connected to a power source.

29 CFR 1926.62(g)(2)(v): The employer shall assure that contaminated protective clothing which is to be cleaned,laundered, or disposed of, is placed in a closed container in the change area which prevents dispersion of lead outside the container. (a) The plastic container in the dirty side of the shower trailer used for soiled work clothes was not covered. This employer has been previously cited for the practice of failing to ensure that containers used for soiled work clothing were covered. UCL, Inc. was cited for a violation of OSHA standard 29 CFR 1926.62(g)(2)(V) or its equiivalent which was contained in OSHA inspection 311675938, Citation 1, Item 2, issued on 7/10/2008.

29 CFR 1926.62(h)(1): All surfaces shall be maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead. (a) On or about July 26, 2011, the bottom of the lower middle locker in the clean side of the decontamination unit had a surface contamination of lead at 1,420 micrograms per square foot. (b) On or about August 29, 2011, the bottom of the lower middle locker in the clean side of the decontamination unit had a surface contamination of lead at 249 micrograms per square foot. This employer has been previously cited for failing to maintain surfaces of clean areas as free as practicable of lead contamination. UCL, Inc. was cited for a violation of OSHA standard 29 CFR 1926.62(h)(1) or its equiivalent which was contained in OSHA inspection 313172470, Citation 2, Item 9a, issued on 11/10/2009. UCL, Inc was also cited for a violation of OSHA standard 29 CFR 1926.62(h)(1) or its equivalent which is contained in OSHA inspection 311675938, Citation 1, Item 3, issued on 7/10/2008.
