29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were other provisions of paragraph (b) of this section used to provide an alternative fall protection measure: a) On or about August 26, 2011, Solid Framing, Inc., as a controlling employer, did not ensure that Barbosa Framing (subcontractor) protected their employees from falls greater than 6 feet while performing work which included installation of floor joists and sheathing without adequate fall protection measures in place. Solid Framing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) or its equivalent which was contained in OSHA inspection 315019406, Citation 1, Item 1, issued April 21, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 7623 Buckeye Tree, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. This citation became final on April 29, 2011.
