29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet(1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems, nor did the demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502. Job Site: On or about September 13, 2011, employees were observed involved in roofing activities on a steep residential roof structure and not utilizing their donned personal fall arrest systems, thus being exposed to a fall hazard approximately 20 feet to the ground surface below. Note: Abatement certification and documentation IS NOT required for this item. Steiner's Quality Roofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of the Occupation Safety and Health standard or its equivalent which was contained in OSHA inspection 311573604, Citation 01, Item 001A, issued on 01/04/2008 and was affirmed on 01/29/08 with respect to a workplace located at 155 Village Lane, Sandpoint, ID. Steiner's Quality Roofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of the Occupation Safety and Health standard or its equivalent which was contained in OSHA inspection 314315326, Citation 01, Item 001, issued on 10/28/2010 and was affirmed on 12/21/10 with respect to a workplace located at 3291 Alaska South Rd., Bozeman, MT.
