29 CFR 1910.1025(d)(1)(ii): Full shift (for at least seven -7 continuous hours) personal samples for lead were not collected including at least one sample for each shift for each job classification in each work area:    a) Sims Recycling Solutions, Franklin Park, IL- Full shift (for at least seven(7) continuous hours) personal samples were not collected for initial determination of lead for each job classification in each work area of the Lab such as on the lab tech assigned to perform the fire assays using the furnaces as well as the other lab techs who perform metal analysis, determinations and extraction process. A lab technician was exposed to lead at an 8-hour time-weighted average level of .043 mg/M3, approximately 1.43 times the OSHA Action Level of .03 mg/M3. The exposure level is derived from a personal sample taken over a 453 minute period during one shift on October 28, 2011. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of 27 minutes.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
