29 CFR 1926.403(b)(2): Listed, labeled, or certified equipment was not installed and used in accordance with instructions included in the listing, labeling, or certification: (a) At Naval Magazine, Building 769, managers office, a 4 foot fluorescent light fixture was not used as designed as it lay against the wall instead of being secured on a ceiling surface. Employees that worked in the area with ladders, scaffolds and other tools were exposed to the hazard of contacting electricity.

29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(E): Lamps used in temporary wiring for general illumination were not protected from accidental contact or breakage: (a) At the project, one, 4 foot long florescent light bulbs were not protected from accidental contact or breakage. The light fixture laid against the wall and there was no cover or screen protecting the bulbs. Employees that worked in the area with ladders, scaffolds and other tools were exposed to the hazard of contacting electricity.
