29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: In maintenance shop area of the facility the employer is failing to ensure the bench grinders tongue guard was adjusted to within one fourth inch of the outer surface of the abrasive wheel. The periphery of the wheel was 2 inch from the bottom of the tongue guard on the Albertson & Company Sioux model SKC65AB48A.
