29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(B): Each affected employee shall be instructed in the purpose and use of the energy control procedure: Throughout the facility The employer is failing to ensure that all employees are adequately trained in this planer. An employee lost the tip of a finger when he was clearing out the working area of a planer in the facility. This employee had been trained on this equipment but had not been shown how to properly clear this machine.
