29 CFR 1926.452(w)(2): Scaffold casters and wheels shall be locked with positive wheel and/or wheel and swivel locks, orequivalent means, to prevent movement of the scaffold while the scaffold is used in a stationary manner. Worksite: The employer did not insure that the mobile scaffold wheels were locked to prevent any sudden movement when the employee utilizing the scaffold.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): "Unprotected sides and edges." Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and verticalsurface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrailsystems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Worksite: An employee was exposed to 8 foot fall hazard while conducting demolition work. He was also exposed to fall hazard through the holes in the ceiling that existed next to him.
