29 CFR 1910.151(b): In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid. Adequate first aid supplies shall be readily available: Employees working on Rig #1 located at Sec 18 Twp 26 Row 5 near El Dorado, KS were exposed to injury in that a person adequately trained to render first aid was not at the drilling site when employees were working. Employees worked at the drilling site 24 hours over three shifts.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. Employees working on Rig #1 located at Sec 18 Twp 26 Row 5 near El Dorado, KS were exposed to injury in that an eye wash station or suitable facilities was not provided for employees using corrosive chemicals such as caustic soda in the mixing area.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employers shall develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written Hazard Communication Program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, material safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met: Employees working on Rig #1 located at Sec 18 Twp 26 Row 5 near El Dorado, KS were exposed to injury in that the employer had not developed, implemented, and maintained at the drilling site, a written Hazard Communication Program for employees using and exposed to chemicals such as propane, gasoline, lubricants, lime, and caustic soda.
