29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered:    On or about 06/11/12 at 1 NOK Drive, Cleveland, GA: Employees located in the Engine Seals Area of the facility were exposed to burn injuries while handling hot metal parts at Engel presses B and C.  The employer failed to enforce the wear of protective sleeves by employees exposed to hot metal parts during the manufacturing process.

29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i. and effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment was not used when compressed air was used for cleaning purposes:    On or about 06/11/12 at 1 NOK Drive, Cleveland, GA: Employees in the Engine Seals Area were exposed to struck-by hazards while using compressed air (45 PSI) for cleaning purposes at the Engel Presses B and C.  The compressed air nozzles that were used at the two presses were not equipped with chip guards.

29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling:    On or about 06/11/12 at 1 NOK Drive, Cleveland, GA: Employees were exposed to electrical hazards, while performing work at the S9 work location in the Shock and Steering Area.  A four receptacle electrical box was improperly installed at the end of a flexible cord and used to supply power to a vacuum.  The employer failed to mount or fasten the electrical box to a surface or structural member of the building as required by listing and labeling.
