29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph (b):    a) Employees were not protected from the hazard of falling while performing roofing work on a roof having a pitch of 8/12 and a ground to eave height of approximately 22 feet.    b) Employees were not protected from the hazard of falling from an unprotected second story deck in the central area of the structure.    Wiese Construction, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314033440, citation 1, item 1, issued on March 5, 2010, and became final order on or about March 25, 2010.    Wiese Construction, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 311245377, citation 1, item 1, issued on September 7, 2007, and became final order on or about September 28, 2007.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
