29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.: a) Production Area: An employee used compressed air for cleaning purposes at the Fadal VMC6030 (FV06) machine and the air pressure was approximately 50 psi exposing employees to injury from metal shavings, on or about June 18, 2012. b) Production Area: An employee used compressed air for cleaning purposes at the KH-45 (KH-12) machine and the air pressure was approximately 45 psi exposing employees to injury from metal shavings, on or about June 18, 2012. c) Production Area: An employee used compressed air for cleaning purposes at the Fadal VMC4020 (FV09) machine and the air pressure was approximately 45 psi exposing employees to injury from metal shavings, on or about June 18, 2012. d) Production Area: Employees used compressed air for cleaning purposes at the Kiwa KNH-426x (KH08) machine and the air pressure was approximately 50 psi exposing employees to injury from metal shavings, on or about June 18, 2012. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
