29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) a.) Cuddy Roofing Inc., 2200 Memorial Road, Farrell, Pa 16121, on or about June 27, 2012, and times prior thereto: Company employees worked with and around hazardous substances including, but not limited to, Siplast SFT adhesive, and nuisance dust from the old roofing material. Employer did not ensure that effective Hazard Communication was provided to new employees in that employees were unaware of the location of MSDSs or the physical and health hazards of the chemicals in their work areas.
