29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2):     Programs did not provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers:    a)  Residence in at Bishops Gate, 1000 Bishops Gate Blvd., Mt. Laurel, NJ:  Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 30 feet to the ground below while standing on the 3rd floor top plate, installing the roof trusses to the breezeway of a wood frame three story hotel addition under construction.  The workers were not using any means of fall protection.  The employer had not initiated a program for a competent person to conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite, to identify hazards and/or stop the work in the event workers were placed in a hazardous condition.  Observed on or about 7/6/12.    NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
