29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and fuardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system. On or about July 6, 2012 and times prior thereto, employees of Roadrunner Construction, Inc. were observed decking a roof on a single story building being constructed at #4 Executive Center Court in Little Rock, Arkansas. An employee was observed on the roof with a fall protection harness but had not tied off to protect from falling. Another employee was observed working on the rooftop without fall protection. The employees were exposed to a falling hazard of greater than 11 feet to the ground level below.
