29 CFR 1926.451(e)(9)(iv): Cross braces on tubular welded frame scaffolds were used as a means of access or egress. On or about June 25, 2012, and times prior to, employees were using the cross braces to gain acces to upper level of the scaffold. This conditon exposed employees to a fallup to 15 feet to the ground below.

JF PLASTERING WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS STANDARD 1925.451(g)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 307266924, CITAION NUMBER 1, ITEM 2A AND WAS AFFIMERD AS A FINAL ORDER ON DeECEMBER 14, 2009, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT CORNER OF CACTUS AND RED BARREL, EL PASO TEXAS.
