29 CFR 1910.24(e): The Angle of stiarway rise was not a uniform combination of rise/tread dimensions resulting in angle to the horizontal of between 30 degrees and 50 degrees:      a)  National Park Service Whiskeytown National Recreation Area - Atorie Building - On or about June 25, 2012 and at times prior thereto, the 7 step stairway behind the building did not have uniform tread widths or riser making use of the stairs hazardous.  The cement was also cracked, worn and chipped increasing the likelihood of slips, trips and falls.  No stair rail on the open side was in place at the time of the inspection.  Employees utilize the steps to access the terrace levels and hillside for grounds maintenance activities and pick/remove fruit from the fruit tress.

The garage is used to store parts and accessories for the Ranger vehicles as well as excess office furniture.  Mice haves not been tested for Hunta Virus at the Atorie Building or at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area at the time of the inspection.
