29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): In every building or other structure, or part thereof, used for mercantile, business, industrial, or storage purposes, the loads approved by the building official were not marked on plates of approved design which were supplied and securely affixed by the owner of the building, or the duly authorized agent, in a conspicuous place in each space to which they related:      a)  U.S. Forest Service Lassen National Forest Bogard Work Center - Warehouse - On or about June 28, 2012 and at times prior thereto, a mezzanine containing excercise equipment and a lounge area used by the fire and timber crews living and working at the Center was not marked with the approved load rating nor was the load rating for the mezzanine known to ensure it was not a hazard for employees safety and health.  The mezzanine is located above offices, restroom, storage and a hallway between bays.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2): Each exit was not clearly visible and marked by a sign reading "Exit":      a)  U.S. Forest Service Lassen National Forest Bogard Work Center - Firefighter Barracks - On or about June 28, 2012 and at times prior thereto the designated exit doors were not clearly visible and marked by a sign reading "Exit" at the front door, two designated exit doors at each end of the bedroom hallway and the designated exit door in the laundry room.    b)   U.S. Forest Service Lassen National Forest Bogard Work Center - Resources Barracks - On or about June 28, 2012 and at times prior thereto the designated exit doors were not clearly visible and marked by a sign reading "Exit" at the living room and main entry door.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(4): Signs were not posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge when the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge was not immediately apparent:      a)   U.S. Forest Service Lassen National Forest Bogard Work Center - Kitchen and Training Center - On or about June 28, 2012 and at times prior thereto signs were not posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge when the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge was not immediately apparent from the central kitchen area to the designated exit door.  The Exit sign located above the designated exit door was not visible from the main kitchen area due to a row of cabinets.    b)   U.S. Forest Service Lassen National Forest Bogard Work Center - Firefighter Barracks - On or about June 28, 2012 and at times prior thereto signs were not posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge when the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge was not within line of sight from the Day Room and upon initially exiting the Restrooms.    c)   U.S. Forest Service Lassen National Forest Bogard Work Center - Warehouse - On or about June 28, 2012 and at times prior thereto signs were not posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge when the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge was not immediately apparent from the rooms in the central hallway of the warehouse.
