29 CFR 1926.200(g)(2): Traffic control signs or devices used for protection of construction workers did not conform to Part VI of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), 1988 Edition, Revision 3, September 3, 1993, FHWA-SA-94-027 or Part VI of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Millenium Edition, December 2000, FHWA. D. Construction, Inc. did not conform to section 6G.03 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), Millennium Edition, when employees worked in and near the traveled way without providing advance warning by signage or by work vehicles displaying amber strobe lights or flashing amber rotating lights to warn approaching road users of construction work. D. Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.200(g)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312728421, citation number 1, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on September 9, 2009, with respect to a workplace located at North Wabena Avenue @ Church Avenue, Minooka, Illinois. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19 (c).
