29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): "Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On 7 August, 2012 at the jobsite located at 500 Welt Street in Weston, Missouri employees were exposed to a fall hazard in that they were working on a low sloped roof approximately 14 feet above ground level without an approved form of fall protection.
