29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): "Roofing work on Low-slope roofs." Except as otherwise provided in paragraph (b) of this section, each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. On 10/03/2016, workers from Eco Green Inc. were repairing a roof of a commercial building located at 888 Birdie Hills Road, St. Peters, MO. Brent Stegman, the owner, and an employee were repairing the roof, which was approximately twenty-four feet above the ground, without the proper use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Eco Green Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 568818, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/27/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 500 Welt Street in Weston, Missouri.
