29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): "Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Building 3, Section 2; employees installed ridge caps on a steep roof with an 8:12 pitch without fall protection, exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately 46 feet. SKYLINE ROOFING WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETYAND HEALTH STANDARD 1926.501(B)(1) CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 312926827, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT New EDUCATION SUPPORT CENTER, DICKINSON, TX 77057. THIS FILE BECAME A FINAL ORDER ON APRIL 28, 2011.
