CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open sided floor(s) or platform(s) 4 feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not provided with a standard railing where required: 979 Bradford Ext. Gainesville, GA - Employees were exposed to fall hazard. The employees and drivers were exposed to an open side of the access platform which leads onto the catwalkway approximately 14' from ground level. The employee and driver access the walkway to unjam the silos when needed. The open side platform was not equipped with a standard guardrail system, on or about 08/15/12, at the following locations: a. Scale Area 1 b. Scale Area 2 No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
