The employees were exposed to a fall to the ground below when utilizing the frame of a masonry walkthrough scaffold to climb to the platform(s) above.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level was not protected from falling to that lower level.    a) Reliant Masonry on or about September 07, 2012, at the address of 2227 Tiffin Ave. Findlay, OH: The employer did not ensure employees were protected from a fall while working from a supported scaffold at the east side of the commercial structure.  Employees installing brick veneer from a scaffolding platform without standard railing were exposed to a 13.5 fall to the ground below.    Reliant Masonry was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314585506, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 22, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 8338 Sancus St. Columbus, OH.
