29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws:    a) Maintenance Office: The maintenance mechanic employees were using the MIG Welding machine to repair and provide maintenance to wood working equipment and the employer did not ensure that stain relief was provided to the terminal end of the power cord.    b) Production Area: The employees were using a power cord connected to a 361 Belt Sander which did not provide strain relief at the terminal end of the cord, exposing employees to electrical shock hazards.

T&R Fixtures. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1), or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 310958327, citation number 01, item number 003a, issued on September 11, 2008, with respect to a workplace located at 210 Commerce Drive, Dallas, GA 30132 with informal settlement and the case close date was October 9, 2008.
