29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service: Basic Grain Products, Inc., located at 300 East Vine St., Coldwater, OH 45828: On or about October 18, 2012, the employer did not ensure that daily examinations of the forklifts such as, but not limited to, Nissan (truck # 12, Model CYM02L25S, Chassis # CYM02-001813) and Crown (truck # 6, RC 3000 Series, S/N 1A268912) were conducted before being put into service. Employees were exposed to struck-by and caught in between hazards. No additional abatement information is needed for this item.
