29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that employees acquired the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage and removal of energy control devices: On or about 11/01/2012 at 654 Univeter Road Canton, GA; employees were exposed to hazards while performing cleaning operations on the conveyor system being sanitized where multiple employees that were sanitizing the same machine did not place their own locks on the energy controls. Only one lock was used for multiple workers.

29 CFR 1910.147(f)(3)(i): A procedure was not utilized to afford the employees a level of protection equivalent to that provided by the implementation of a personal lockout or tagout device when servicing and/or maintenance was performed by a crew, craft, department or other group. On or about 11/01/2012 at 481 Univeter Road Canton, GA; employees were exposed to caught-in and struck-by hazards where multiple employees performing sanitation operations on the lines were using one lock to isolate the energy source.
