29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person: JOB SITE: 2816 Chadwick Drive, Saint Louis, MO 63121, at this work site, the employer failed to provide a competent person to conduct frequent and regular inspection of the job site to control or eliminate job hazards associated witht eh work acitivity at this job site. The workers were installing black felt paper on a 6:12 pitch roof, approximately 11 feet 5 inches eave to ground level without any form of fall protection. NATIONAL DESIGN & EXTERIORS, INC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard of 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314281759, citation number 1, item 1, issued on 7/12/2010 and was affirmed as a final order date of 8/05/2010, with respect to a workplace located on 1621-1629 Marriott Lane, Barnhart, MO 63012

The workers were exposed to a fall hazard.
