29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladders length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: (a) Front of Building, on or about November 27, 2012 - employees were accessing the work area on the roof deck with an extension ladder that did not extend the requisite three feet above the landing. Ground to eave elevation was approximately 16 feet, 10 inches. Adirondack Roofing LLC was previously issued a citation for a violation of this OSHA Standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), with respect to a workplace that was located at 439 Canada Street, Lake George, NY 12845, Inspection Number 486598, Citation Number One, Item Number Two, conducted on June 26, 2012, issued on August 16, 2012 and becomign a Final Order on September 10, 2012.
