29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of Iron Oxide fumes and Copper fumes listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the 8 hour Time Weighted Average concentration of 10 mg/m3 and 0.1 mg/m3 respectively:      On or about December 18, 2013:    The employees welding in the welding area are exposed to welding fumes such as, but not limited to copper and iron oxide.       1.  Welder 1 was exposed to copper at 0.1800 mg/m3, which is 1.8 times the 8hr time weighted average.  Welder 1 was exposed to iron oxide at 23 mg/m3, which is 2.3 times the 8hr time weighted average.  (Sampling # 126648, 458 minutes)     2.  Welder 2 was exposed to iron oxide at 12.64 mg/m3 which is 1.2 times the 8hr time weighted average.  (Sampling # 126688, 467 minutes)

29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.:     On or about December 18, 2013:   The employees working in the powder coating area were exposed to struck-by hazards from flying debris and other compressed air hazards while cleaning their helmets and spray guns.  The air hose in powder coating was measured at 87 p.s.i.     Wright Metal Products Crates, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.242(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 373037, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on June 13, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 111 Franklin Street, Lavonia, Georgia.

29 CFR 1910.134(k): The employer did not provide comprehensive, understandable training which did not occur annually and/or more often if necessary:   On or about December 18, 2013:   Employees working in the powder coating booth were exposed to respiratory hazards.  The employees were required to use airline supplied helmets with hoods. The employees did not receive training on the helmets being used.  The employer did not ensure that comprehensive training was conducted, and at least annually.
