29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) On or about January 10, 2013, a KTK TB-120 industrial drill press was not protected at the point of operation to prevent employees from coming into contact with rotating parts creating a caught-in and/or laceration hazards while employees drill various metal pieces and parts. b) On or about January 10, 2013, Chinhung CH-400X800 lathe was not protected at the point of operation to prevent employees from coming into contact with rotating parts creating a caught-in and/or laceration hazards while employees precisely cut various stock metal materials to make parts and products.
