OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to severe burn injuries from a dust fire or explosion created by dust collectors located inside a building and by not directing any potential deflagration venting to an outside location: a) Baler Area: A Donaldson Torit dust collector (model DFT4-48) was located inside of the building and was not equipped with proper protective equipment, as observed on or about January 24, 2013. Abatement Certification Required
