Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Math Building of Murphy High School, Mobile, AL; On or about January 23, 2013 and at times prior the employer exposed his employees to fall hazards in that an employee was allowed to work on a roof that was sloped 6 on 12 that was 25 feet above the ground without being tied off.
