Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system: a) At 25747 Perdido Beach Boulevard, Carmelo Ristorante, Orange Beach, Alabama: On May 2, 2023; the employer allowed his employees to perform roofing activities without fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 14 feet 7 inches to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) At 25747 Perdido Beach Boulevard, Carmelo Ristorante, Orange Beach, Alabama: On May 2, 2023; the employer allowed his employees to perform roofing activities without first training his employees on the hazards associated with falls to include but not limited to setting up and inspecting fall protection and the requirement to use fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 14 feet 7 inches to the ground below.
