On or about January 24, 2013, at the above addressed job site, employees were exposed to a fall hazard while hot mopping a roof with the use of a lifeline and rope grab device that permitted the employee to free fall more than 6 feet.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. On or about January 24, 2013, at the above addressed job site, employees were exposed to a fall hazard while hot mopping a roof without a means of fall protection. Tim Graboski Roofing Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 311090443, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 12, 2008, with respect to a workplace located at 4570 S. Military Trail, Greenacres, Florida 33461.
