29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(vii)(N): The bloodborne pathogens training program did not contain an opportunity for interactive questions or answers with the person conducting the training session:         a.     Establishment - Annual training for bloodborne pathogens did not include an opportunity for interactive questions and answers with the person conducting the training, in that the training consisted of viewing the power point slides on a computer and taking a quiz which is submitted on the computer for review.    Abatement Note:  The annual bloodborne pathogens training must be provided at no cost to the employee and during working hours; therefore, if the training is accessed from a computer at home, the employees must be paid for that time to be considered "during working hours."

Abatement Note:  The training records shall be maintained for 3 years from the date on which the training occurred; and must include all of the following information:  (A)  The dates of the training sessions;  (B)  The contents or a summary of the training sessions;  (C)  The names and qualifications of persons conducting the training; and  (D)  The names and job titles of all persons attending the training sessions.
