29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a. Manchester Station - There was no eye wash or other suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes in the area where employees pour bleach into containers for mixing with water. The squeeze bottle type eye wash stations at the site from a previous tenant were not suitable in that they had expired in 2004, and would not provide 15 minutes of continuous flushing in the event of a chemical splash to the eye.
