29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     On or about 03/07/2013, at the above addressed worksite, an employee standing on the top floor deck and 2 employees on the balcony on the second level of a building under construction were exposed to a fall of greater than 6 feet.    a) The employee on the top deck was exposed to a fall of approximately 26 feet.    b) The employees on the balcony were exposed to a fall of approximately 11 feet.

29 CFR 1926.701(b):  All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement:    On or about, 03/07/2013, at the above referenced worksite, employees were exposed to multiple uncapped reinforcement rods on the balcony.    NOTE:  CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
