29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about 11/03/2014, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 18 feet while cleaning debris from a second floor balcony of a residential home under construction and was not protected with a means of conventional fall protection system. Terra Group, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 894759, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 4/22/2013 with respect to a workplace located at 5800 NW 104th Path Doral, FL 33178.
