29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. On or about March 13, 2013 at the above address employees were performing roofing work on a residential home without utilizing fall protection. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 9.2 feet. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d). Vasat Exteriors, Carpentry and Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1923.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 98659, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on September 27, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 300 W. Sibley, Park Ridge, Illinois 60068. Vasat Exteriors, Carpentry and Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315511998, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on June 22, 2011 with respect to a workplace located at 301 Prospect, Park Ridge Illinois 60068.
