29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means:   a. On or about March 15, 2013, on a low slope roof, employees tearing off roofing material in close proximity to live electrical circuits were not protected against electrical shock by de-energizing the circuits or effective guarding the circuits by insulation or other means.

Peach State Roofing, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314639063, citation number 02, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/04/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 100 Cumberland Mall Drive, Atlanta, Georgia 30339.    Peach State Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312174899 citation number 02, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/22/2009, with respect to a workplace located at 6898 U.S. Hwy 19 N., Pinellas Park, Florida, 33781.    29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels and 50-feet (15.25 m) wide or less, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety nets:    a. On or about March 17, 2013, on a low slope roof, employees engaged in roofing work were not protected from a 10-foot fall hazard by the use of a fall protection system.
